A neighborhood tradition.

Gilbert’s official historical feature dates the shop’s opening to 1947. In 1951, Jose “Joe” Gonzales took over. The shop became a gathering place as well as a place for a haircut.

The Town’s feature tells how Joe’s children carried that family story forward. Today, the doors are part of the rhythm of downtown Gilbert.
